Website Privacy Notice
This notice explains the personal information we process through the Shipay website and how to contact us about applicable data-protection rights. Effective date: 29 August 2026.
1. Who is responsible for this website?
Guangzhou Shipay Technology Co., Ltd. (广州适倍科技有限公司) operates this website and is responsible for the website personal-information processing described in this notice.
For privacy or data-rights help, email [email protected].
2. Information we process
When you submit the contact form, we process the information you provide:
- name, country or region, email address, and mobile number;
- inquiry type and inquiry message; and
- your selected language, English or Simplified Chinese.
To keep the form secure and reduce automated abuse, we also process a short-lived signed form challenge generated by Shipay, a cryptographic hash of an IP address, and necessary request and rate-limit records. The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website use and performance; that service processes related technical and usage information.
3. Purposes and lawful handling
We use this information only to:
- receive, review, and respond to your inquiry;
- operate the contact form, maintain website security, and prevent fraud or abuse;
- understand aggregated website use and performance; and
- comply with applicable law, manage disputes, or protect legal rights.
When you choose to submit an inquiry, you ask us to process the information to respond. Where applicable law requires consent, we rely on your consent. Processing necessary to protect website security, meet legal obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims may also occur where permitted by applicable law.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We use Cloudflare for website hosting, the Cloudflare D1 contact-form database, and Cloudflare Web Analytics. We also use Resend to deliver an email copy of each accepted inquiry to Shipay's fixed recipient, [email protected]; for that delivery, Resend processes the contact details, inquiry content, and delivery records. These providers process information needed to operate the website, protect the form, deliver inquiries, or provide website analytics.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose it only where needed to provide the services above, comply with law, respond to a valid law-enforcement request, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5. Retention and cross-border processing
The website database stores accepted inquiry information and email-delivery records with a 90-day expiry period; anti-abuse rate-limit records have a one-hour expiry period. Each accepted inquiry is also emailed through Resend to [email protected]. The automated 90-day expiry applies only to the Cloudflare D1 website database, not to email copies held by Resend or in the recipient mailbox. We keep those email copies only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and manage the inquiry, meet legal obligations, manage disputes, or protect rights.
Cloudflare and Resend services may process information outside your location. When cross-border processing occurs, we will take the measures required by applicable law, including obtaining required consent or using appropriate transfer safeguards.
6. Your rights and how to exercise them
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction, deletion, restriction of, or objection to our processing of your personal information; to withdraw consent; or to receive a portable copy. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
Email [email protected] with your request and the email address connected with the contact form. To protect your information, we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Children
The website contact form is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the form, a parent or guardian can contact us at [email protected].
8. Security and changes to this notice
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information processed through the website, but no internet transmission or storage method is absolutely secure. If we update this notice, we will publish the revised version on this page. For questions about this notice or website privacy practices, contact [email protected].
